EagleNet Helps Business Customers Avoid Costs, Complications of E-mail Hosting

Iserv said that the new Virtual Mail Server product also provides customers with the protection of a state-of-the-art data center and access via the web from anywhere in the world. Users of the service utilize mail servers in Iserv's Tier 1 Data Center, the largest and most secure data center in West Michigan with triple-redundant connections to the Internet backbone, allowing secure back-up and easy access to data. E-mail administrators can easily assign and manage accounts through a web-based application.

Each e-mail account comes with 25mb of storage space and users may access their VMS e-mail using any e-mail software program or through Iserv's Webmail web-based e-mail application. The Webmail application includes SPAM and virus protection, can be customized to reflect a company's name and logo and is available anywhere in the world. In addition, Iserv is offering VMS customers a discount on its Postini service, which provides enhanced SPAM and virus protection. Users may continue to use their onsite mail servers along with their Virtual Mail Server for internal e-mails or back-up, or use VMS to supplement an internal e-mail system.
