IPass Trouble Shooting Guide
IPass is Eagle's roaming service that
allows you to connect from almost anywhere in the world at a fraction of the
cost of long distance. There's no cost to set it up, all you need to do is call
EagleNet to setup an account and download
some software. IPass is pretty easy to use, but here are some settings to check
if you run into problems.

Getting started
The IPass program is pictured to the right. To use your program, simply
select the country, state, and city you are on. Then choose the number
there you want to dial and click connect.
If the number doesn't work, try other local numbers. You will usually
find several local numbers available for your use.
If after time you notice that none of the numbers, then you should update
the phonebook:

Username and password problems
If IPass is telling you that you have an invalid username and / or password,
look at the User Info section under the Options menu. Make sure your username
and password are both entered in the box. This should be the same username
and password you use to get onto EagleNet from your home connection. If
this does not work, clear out your username and password and type them
both in all lower case, making sure Caps Lock is off and Num Lock is on
when you type.

Modem or phone line errors
IPass still requires you to have a working and properly setup modem connected
to a working and properly setup phone jack. If you receive error messages
about no dial-tone or inability to detect the modem, please check the
connection between the computer and the phone line. Also try plugging
a normal phone into that jack and checking to see if you can make standard
phone calls on it. If this works, check settings under the options menu
and make sure that the modem selected there is indeed the current modem
you are using.
